Bestcan did a great job on our basement renovation recently. We have used them in the past on other home improvement projects, and have always found them very competent and entirely trustworthy. Many thanks to Joe and his crew. COVID placed some restrictions on the progress of their work, but they handled everything in fine fashion.

We just had all our windows changed. I can’t say enough about how pleased we were with the work done, both in terms of installation and of follow up indoor painting. First class all round.

Best Can just finished siding our complete house along with replacing four windows and two patio doors. They did a great job even replacing some of the rotting plywood at no extra cost. Well, our house renovations are finally completed. We had 10 windows installed, new vinyl siding and a new roof. When we first met Brian Bailey, he told my husband and I that if we went with his company, BestCan, we would not be disappointed. We are very happy to say that we are definitely NOT disappointed. Brian’s staff are absolutely awesone contractors. They would clean around the house after each work day and today was the last day of the renos and the roofing contractors were great at cleaning up. You cannot even tell that within the last three weeks we have been having three different groups of contractors working at are house. The staff were very friendly, professional and meticulous. We are SO happy to have chosen BestCan to do all of that work on our house.

We had our upstairs front window replaced today. Jeff & Taz did the work. It was exceptional work done in a very professional manner. When they were done, they picked up all the debris and left the place totally clean. We are very impressed and absolutely satisfied with all of it.

From my first meeting with the owner Brian Bailey to the various crews who were responsible for either the installations of new windows, siding, soffits, fascia, and eavestroughs, everyone was very professional and personable plus the workmanship was second to none. BestCan did a fantastic job installing 9 new windows on an older style home that I purchased a couple of months ago. I was very impressed with the workmanship of BestCan’s window installers. They worked efficiently and all their materials were cleaned up afterwards. The Vinylbilt windows are excellent quality and enhance the curb appeal of our older home. Beautiful interior trim was installed around each window to complement their high quality.

I also had one of my front windows lengthened to complement the height of the living room windows. Best Can provided the mason to cut out the brick and to re-brick once the new window was installed. This remedial work was done so well that one can’t tell any difference between the repaired and original brick. I am extremely pleased with the windows installed by BestCan and would highly recommend this company to anyone wanting to upgrade their windows and home.

We recently had BESTCAN replace our siding on your house. We were extremely pleased with the quality of the work. Roy McAuley (representative) was calm, knowledgeable, and pleasant to deal with. We had Best Can replace our living room window and front door back several years ago and decided to use Best Can again to re-side and insulate our house in April/16, Josh and Nicolas were the crew that performed the work. I will just say it was really great to see a crew that were so detailed orientated and professional. Josh and Nicolas were great and they left a very clean worksite when they finished. We recently had BESTCAN replace our windows, front and patio doors as well as do some masonry repairs. We are very happy with the quality products, excellent workmanship and efficient installers provided by BESTCAN. Disruption in the house was kept to a minimum. Daily clean up by the installers was thorough. I can certainly recommend BESTCAN unreservedly and will turn to them again in the future.

My house is mansard style with siding independent of the roof. Bestcan did the siding last week +. They even thought to put in new electrical covers, dryer vent, and bathroom vent cover. But the best was the crew who were diligent with no dilly dallying. The detail was excellent, lines of sight all lined up and flashing new and cleanly installed – and a bonus for my wife, they did not smoke on the job nor curse, and they cleaned up after themselves very thoroughly.j My neighbour, who is in the trades, said it looked very good, but not his colour liking; he is from Europe so I excused his colour taste.

We have worked with BESTCAN on a number of successful home renovation projects over the past 15 years. Our initial project was the replacement of all the windows (15 custom made vinyl) in our 100-year-old house. The activity was completed in a thorough professional manner all within 1 day. Subsequently BESTCAN installed vinyl siding and aluminum covering of all the wooden components of the house. Our next project with BESTCAN was the building of a large 2 car garage (24’ x 24’) including the creation of retaining walls and a new driveway. This large project required the building of a 5-foot deep concrete foundation with concrete floor and was done on time and within budget. We then had BESTCAN design, build and install a custom kitchen. Again everything was done to our complete satisfaction. We needed a new custom built back steel entry / storm door combination which BESTCAN provided and installed in a profession manner. BESTCAN is a very versatile company that provides a wide range of services. Their workmanship and service is exemplary. This organization is reliable, honest, professional and friendly. In early 2015, we decided to replace our windows. I contacted seven manufactures, viewed their product in my home and at two homes shows. I got seven quotes. Of those I chose BESTCAN not only for the price but more so for the quality and style of VinylBilt product.

In 2015 I did four windows, the front and patio doors. The kitchen bay window was a challenge because they had never encountered one installed like it was. With some innovation they did an excellent job that clearly met my expectations.

After receiving quotes from several companies we chose Bestcan to replace all of the windows in our house, as well as the patio door. We had been impressed with the salesman and the owner, as well as the installers (the owner had arranged for us to see a “job in process” and meet the installers).

The installation went off without a hitch. The installers were very professional and the quality of their work was top notch. They completed each window before moving on to the next one. When they finished each room they cleaned up to the point that you wouldn’t know they had been in the room. They also took away all the old windows and the trash. As well, without having to ask them, they disconnected the existing wiring for our security system and installed them in the new windows in such a way that the security company could install new contacts.
We are also very pleased with the quality of the new windows.

I would highly recommend Bestcan to anyone in Ottawa who wants to replace their windows.

I have lived in my house since new for 30 years and so I have had several projects done during this period of time.

We had to have our 4 last windows to replace and some vinyl siding done. We chose BestCan for the job primarily since Roy the assessor was know to us from a previous job when he worked with a different firm.

Roy was excellent when he came to assess the house giving us valuable advice as well as explaining the pros and cons of various options.

All was booked and when the material was ready a mutually convenient time to start the job Kwan easily and amicably agreed upon. Jeff and his helper arrived on the date and time as planned. This guy was pleasant, professional and superb at his job. He has 30 years of experience and it shows. 4 windows were installed within 3 hrs. I watched and they did a beautiful job.

In addition they cleaned up and took away the old windows, wood , metal fascia and cleaned up so other than seeing the New windows one would not have know that anyone had been there. The following day, again as agreed upon Jeff and his buddy arrived at 7.30 am to finish the work on the outside replacing some rotten wood, re installing the aluminum fascia and repair and replacing the Vinyl siding. Another top class job for which I was not able to stay due to work commitments. I felt totally at ease leaving the house min Jeff’s hands and arranging for him to leave the key in a pre arrranged spot.

I strongly recommend this firm for your next job and I for sure have them in my people to call list since I’m not a handy man. thank you Roy, Jeff with buddy and Bestcan for a job so well done that it even eases to pay the bill. The adage you get what you pay for is true and surpassed in my situation.

BestCan did a fantastic job in installing VinylBilt windows on our entire house (12 windows and a patio door). These windows come with a lifetime warranty and are Window Wise approved. The installers were great, Vitali and his dad are craftsmen and they did Quality job with the installation, trim and aluminum work. They were so professional and caring, making sure everything was right and keeping us informed. Bill Mann and Mr. Bailey are very customer focused. I had vinyl siding installed on our garage and garden shed. Your installers Jeff and Danny did a marvelous job installing 2 metal doors and the siding on the hottest days of the year. They were both very professional, reliable and explained what they were doing each step of the way. They finished and cleaned up in 3 days. They did such a wonderful job I decided to install a deck in the back of the house as I had a sliding glass door and no way of exiting through this door. They were very helpful in planning the deck, 14′ x 14′ with steps down to the yard, a privacy fence between us and our neighbour. The job was done in 4 days, yard clean-up and it looked marvelous.
