The Queensway Terrace North neighbourhood is one of Ottawa’s best-kept secrets. This small community of bungalows, split-levels, and two-story homes dates back to the 50s and 60s, when this neighbourhood was an extension of cottage properties not far from Britannia Beach. It is home to many original owners and offers wooded trails throughout the area, tennis courts, Frank Ryan Park with wading pool and skating rink, and a creek running alongside the NCC trails and transitway.
Our recent project included a family bungalow in dire need of replacement windows and doors. Their existing windows dated back to the early eighties, and both the front and back doors let in quite a bad draft. We installed new energy-efficient windows, a modern-style black front door and back door with a built-in screen for both light, privacy, and no dusting required!
